The Trust for the National Mall: Capital Campaigns

The Trust for the National Mall (the Trust), the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, engaged Hargrove International staff to develop a plan to raise $350,000,000 to restore, improve, and enhance the National Mall, “America’s Front Yard.” The resulting comprehensive capital campaign plan identified key funding objectives, assembled an organizational structure for volunteer leadership, structured gift expectation tables and commemorative gift opportunities for each of six priority projects, and articulated a detailed implementation plan. Key to the plan’s success was coordinating an eight-year multi-faceted national fundraising effort while sustaining the Trust’s important ongoing annual fundraising for operations.
