A host-led assessment is set up by the local destination or host organization with a detailed itinerary of specific sites, activities, or experiences to review. Hargrove conducts the on-site assessment accompanied by the host, providing an opportunity to add insights or information that may impact the review. An independent assessment starts with a recommended itinerary compiled by the host. However, the on-site assessment is conducted solely by Hargrove without the advanced knowledge or engagement of the host on-site.
